Meaningful Movie Sep 14: American Winter

On Thu Sep 14, Meaningful Movies at the Cascade Park Library will feature a 2012 film from Portland titled American WinterAmerican Winter was filmed during the winter of 2011-2012 in Portland, Oregon, in the wake of the worst U.S. Economic crisis since the Great Depression. The film documents the experiences of eight families struggling to meet their basic needs and turning to social services for assistance after facing unforeseen financial setbacks.

Join the Meaningful Movies group for the movie on September 14 6-8pm, and return for a discussion on September 21.

1 Day Group Project at Share

Share is looking for a group of 12-15 people to wash down and paint the kitchen and dining room at Share House in downtown Vancouver in one amazing day!  The facilities serve 3 meals a day to hundreds of people, so every day counts.   If you have a group of 12-15 or you have a flexible schedule and could join a group, contact Dellan at or 360-448-2121.
